As you complete Professional Development, you may have the opportunity to enter Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDU's) into the Educator Licensure Information System (ELIS) for your certificate.  The State requires each certified educator to enter CPDU's throughout each five year renewal cycle.  When you go to renew your teaching license on ELIS, you will need to ensure that you have the required CPDU's.
